Description

Combining a long-sleeved t-shirt top and relaxed trousers, this care package offers the wearer the option of wearing them together as an attractive and comfortable pyjama set or mixed with personal clothing items for a more customised day, or night look. Both items work perfectly to accomodate the IV lines, drains and monitors needed during hospital, hospice or at-home medical treatment.

The front-opening top makes dressing easier, whilst the trousers enable easy access to the legs, hips and groin area without the need to undress.

Benefits of the long-sleeved t-shirt top:

  • Front opening design enables easy dressing, and poppers rather than buttons means it is less fiddly to close.
  • Poppered sleeve openings from the cuff to the neckline allow most individuals to dress and undress independently even when connected to IV lines and drains, as well as easy access for examinations or treatments.
  • Discreet side openings give access to the chest area through which to pass drains, feeding tubes and monitoring devices, without snagging or pulling.
  • Interior pockets on the right-hand side can hold small drains, morphine drivers or monitors.
  • Soft, stretchy, natural fabric ensures maximum comfort and helps to regulate body temperature and odour.

Benefits of the trousers:

  • Lightly elasticated waist belt at the back, together with adjustable poppers and buttons, ensure a comfortable fit.
  • Poppered fly opening enables quick access while also ensuring modesty.
  • Front panel opens fully, providing access from waist to upper thigh, and is fastened securely with buttons to ensure there is no risk of sudden exposure.
  • Leg outer seams are poppered from the ankle to mid-thigh and can be fully or partially opened as needed to allow access to catheter bags or to the leg for treatment.
  • Wide-leg design hides drains and catheter bag.
  • Internal and external pockets for personal items, such as wallet or tissues.

INGA Wellbeing has closed

INGA WELLBEING CLOSED IN DECEMBER 2019 BUT ITS’ DESIGNS ARE STILL AVAILABLE

Thank you for visiting our website.  After three and a half years of trading, we took the difficult decision to close our doors in December 2019.  Thank you to all who shared our commitment to improving patient wellbeing with adapted clothing suited to the realities of medical treatment. Together we achieved so much – please view our three minutes of memories here.

  • If would like to purchase some of our clothing, we encourage you to contact AnnaDane Wellness, based in Texas USA.
  • If you are a company or charity that is interested in producing our patient clothing, we have decided to offer our award-winning designs for free. You can use them as they are, or as the basis of your own collection. Please contact Claire Robinson at claireingawellbeing@google.com, if you would like to know more.
  • If you are a hospital that would like to offer your patients an improved experience and improve their emotional, mental and physical wellbeing, our institutional collection is being further developed and tested by a Dutch university hospital and we would be delighted to put you in touch with them. Please contact Nikla Lancksweert at niklaingawellbeing@google.com

We wish you all the very best for the future,

The INGA Wellbeing team:

Claire, Nikla, Fiona and Christine
